Frequently Asked Questions

Aren’t there already some great high schools in Saint Louis? Why start a new one?

Great question. Yes, Saint Louis has great high schools throughout the Metro area. However, if a city family is looking for a Christian high school, they are often needing to either drive several miles or pay a substantial tuition cost, or, most often, both. Many families already send their children to high-quality Christian K-8 programs in the city and then have to go to the county for high school. We see a significant need for an academically rigorous, biblically faithful high school education right here in South City. That is the heart behind Center Cross Academy.

What are tuition costs for City Christian Academy?

For questions about tuition, applications, and enrollment, please call the office at (314) 776-6474. Tuition rates for 26-27 will be released at our first open house in the fall semester. We are committed to accessible, rigorous, biblical education in Saint Louis City and our goal is that not one single family will be turned away by the cost.

Is Center Cross Academy affiliated with any particular denomination?

CCA is an initiative of St. Louis Metro, a network of more than one hundred churches throughout the area. Their agreed upon doctrinal statement is the 2000 Baptist Faith and Message.

What is the connection between Center Cross Academy and Tower Grove Church?

For nearly fifty years, Tower Grove Church has been offering high quality, affordable Christian education in the heart of South City. With respect to this legacy and a fresh eye toward the future, Center Cross Academy will be assuming management of the K-8 school and launching a brand new high school program, beginning with 9th grade and adding one grade each year, in the Fall of 2025. Tower Grove Church will remain a key partner as they are joined by more than a hundred other churches in the Metro area to support the school in every way moving forward.
